Budget 2009 provided a comprehensive plan to stimulate our economy, restore confidence, support Canadian families during the current global downturn and invest in the foundations of long-term economic growth.

This stimulus plan enabled Canadians to emerge with a more modern and greener infrastructure, a more skilled labour force, lower taxes and a more competitive economy while we continue to ease out of the global recession.

With the start of the fall session beginning shortly I invite you to submit a proposal in regards to Budget 2010. I,  along with my Finance Committee colleagues are very interested in your thoughts and in light of the next budget we will be travelling coast to coast to listen to organizations and individuals and take into consideration needs and wants for the next budget.
