Mike Wallace TV Show gets green light.

BURLINGTON-Betty Young, Supervising Producer at TVCogeco announced yesterday that the TV program ‘Upfront with Mike Wallace’ has been approved for 10 additional episodes following its August premier. The show will air monthly through to June 2007.

The first episode of Upfront with Mike Wallace premiered on Tuesday August 1st 2006 and has since been in rotation at TVCogeco. The first or ‘pilot’ episode featured the Burlington Downtown Waterfront Development Project and included interviews with the project’s manager Marg Macvinnie, Burlington Art Centre’s Director Ian Ross, and Burlington’s Mayor Rob MacIsaac.

The shows producer, Jon Watson, has a background in film and television and also happens to be Mike’s assistant in Ottawa. “I’m very excited to be involved in this project and to help make the connection between what the Federal Government is doing and what that means to our community locally. Burlington viewers will get to see Mike Wallace in action and learn about what the Federal Government has done for them lately.”

The show is broadcast locally on Cogeco Cable channel 23. Consult your local listings for broadcast times.
